SIGNALS & STRUCTURE · CLARITY UNDER CONFLICT

You're already documenting. Nobody told you what counts.

These are plain-English tools for organizing what you already have, so you can stop saving everything, stop second-guessing yourself, and spend less of your life on this.

Educational and organizational tools, not legal advice. Everything runs in your own accounts on your own devices, so your documents stay yours.

What's actually going on

Most people in this situation are documenting constantly, so the problem was never effort. You've got a camera roll with three years of screenshots sitting between the school pictures, an inbox you'd rather not open, an app that exports something you've never opened once, and a long list of things you remember perfectly and never wrote down. None of it is organized because none of it arrived organized, it accumulated one screenshot at a time, late at night, in the gaps between everything else you were responsible for.

What's missing is the method that turns all of that into something another person can follow, and the reason it matters is that almost none of it gets read. Nobody sits down with three years of messages, not a judge, not a mediator, not your own attorney at their hourly rate, so what gets used is whatever a reader can get through quickly. The pattern that's obvious to you is invisible on paper, which is exactly why describing it out loud makes you sound like you're exaggerating even to the people on your side.

Structure is the answer to ambiguity and hopefulluy fewer coparenting challenges along the way.

Who this is for

72%

of domestic relations cases had at least one self-represented party.

IAALS Family Justice Initiative Landscape Report, 147,436 cases disposed July 2016 to June 2017 across eleven large urban courts. Range 33% to 86% by site.

I built these because I needed them and couldn't find them. I spent years in family court myself, and the truth was never the thing that was missing, it was just scattered, and any single message could be explained away while all of them together couldn't. More about why this exists.

Structure reveals the signal. Clarity reduces conflict. That's what all of this is for.
